Trekking along Lauretana: circle tour Serre-Asciano
The part of Via Lauretana Toscana that crosses the Crete Senesi, not only crosses a nature that is now an icon of Tuscany all over the world, but also crosses two beautiful villages: Serre di Rapolano and Asciano. In this period of the year, the blinding green of the cultivated fields is the setting for a path that deserves to be crossed on foot, between soft ups and downs and views as far as the eye can see. To better appreciate the natural beauty and the history of these two places, the visit will be supervised by a Qualified Tourist Guide and an Environmental Hiking Guide. The excursion will therefore include a nice walk along Via Lauretana, through natural or fascinating landscapes such as the travertine quarries, including guided tours of the villages to discover more interesting and less known corners.
